Job Description
- Being responsible for country spending and executing purchasing activities and operations by procurement strategy for specific assignments for Indirect & Business Equipment.
- Doing contact selection and negotiating with vendors to help ensure high-quality levels supply assurance and competitive rate.
- Establishing contract and pricelist for materials for supply assurance.
- Evaluating vendor reliability and following up on any problems regarding the use of purchased materials.
- Implementing sourcing strategies and savings projects.
- Engaging key stakeholders (inc. engineering Function/Business Unit associates) to achieve project milestones and action plans.
- Supporting all Business units (for Equipment) and Supply Chain (for Indirect) in Thailand.
- Preparing monthly savings reports and pipeline and savings consolidation into the procurement portal.
- Assisting in reporting dashboard for procurement country performance.
- Assisting in reviewing key suppliers performance KPI and country annual audit.
- Doing EBS daily operations (vendor master data OA).
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience with a procurement background in equipment/indirect sourcing including experience/interest in chemicals will be an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant experience in Supply Chain Operations (i.e. Logistics Import Export EPC).
- Fluency in written and spoken English for Business.
