The Opportunity:
ASW Consulting is working with an IT solution company with the focus on providing the best service for their clients (mainly within insurance and banking industries).
This opportunity suits someone at the start of their senior career with solid full-stack skills of Java and React as the main focus and prior experience in guiding the juniors.
The Role and What Youll Get to Work On:
- Clients: mostly within banking and insurance sectors
- Project scope:Mostly payment process credit card via payment gateway QR code issuing documents
- In-house Expense System
- Changing the system from mobile into web-app e.g. royalty application
Working style & Culture:
- Friendly professional and providing the best service to the clients.
- For the project with client site the pattern will be according to the site.
- For other projects when youre based in the office then its hybrid with 2 days a week of WFA (working from anywhere)
Collaborations:
- With relevant clients (will get to converse in English to explain and answer questions to the clients directly) colleagues on client site or at your office e.g. CTO more junior developers
- Project Sizing & Team: variation of 4-10 people working on a project depends on the scale.
Required and Nice to Have Tech Skills:
- Required: Java React
- Database: PostgreSQL MS SQL Server
- .Net Core Angular (nice to have)
- Cloud: AWS (nice to have) most projects are based on Cloud
- Other tech: Spring Boot Kotlin
- Previous experience in insurance and/or banking will be a plus. But were open if you came from other industries as well.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills:Ability to explain things in a clear and easy to understand manner
- Ability to understand the business and how your work can make an impact will be a plus.
- English Communication skills:Great English skills all-round. Youll converse with certain clients in English to discuss on the project details.
This role suits you if youre quite flexible in terms of working pattern and projects youll be working with as it goes with the project demands and priorities. The good part is at one point youll be back to work at your own office so its a good blend of both worlds.
