About Your Workplace

Overall objective/Purpose of position
To accurately forecast inventory levels to meet sales demand whilst minimizing inventory holding costs
To ensure the supply of inventory to meet sales demand

Responsibilities

  • Analyze inventory requirements and develop an accurate inventory forecast
  • Balance inventory holdings with availability to meet demand including phase in and out products
  • Manage the supply of goods including the transfer of inventory between distribution centres
  • Identify manage & communicate supply constraints
  • Lead inventory optimization processes for warehouse own shops service technician van stock and other inventory managed entities
  • Contribute to the definition of demand & supply planning parameters and ensure their maintenance.
  • Support in further supply chain tasks as required

  • LSI (Logistics Services International) SCP (Supply chain planning) department
  • LSI (Logistics Services International) SAC (Spare parts and Consumables) department
  • Marketing Sales Service and Professional Product Managers
  • Sales Service and Professional Back Office

What success will look like in two years/Desired outcome

  • The accurate forecasting of stock to meet demand whilst minimizing stock holding costs
  • Minimizing impact to customers through the smooth supply of inventory

Key performance measures for position

  • Stock level (in % of turnover)
  • Service level & forecast quality
  • Slow mover & B stock

Competencies/Skills for position

  • Education:
    • Academic degree (engineer economics logistics ) or corresponding work experience
  • Work experience:
    • Logistics background preferred
    • SAP experience preferred
  • Skills & competencies required:
    • Good supply chain understanding
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Good stakeholder management skills
    • Good IT understanding
    • Process and e2e thinking (well structured)
    • Good communication skills adaptable for all organizational levels fluency in English preferred
    • English: Read & writing (TOEIC 700) and verbal (CEFR B1)
