Job Description

We are looking for a candidate who has experience in creating new business opportunities for industrial products globally with the sales team. The candidate should leverage our existing products for new markets applications and customers. They should also provide competitive analysis from a technical and business model perspective.

In addition this position will oversee related product lines customers primarily connected to the global players. This role involves strong engagement with customers engineering and sales on product positioning and creating value propositions for our products.

High pro-active engagement with the cross-functional team (engineering projects and opportunity team) on the deliverables of the strategic plans and growth expectations is essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and manageproduct roadmapsaligned with market needs and company strategy.
  • Develop adifferentiated product linetargeting key applications with engineering based on market pain points.
  • Leadcross-functional teamsthrough product development launch and lifecycle management.

2. Market & Competitive Analysis

  • Conductmarket researchand analyze competitor activities to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Monitorproduct performance and profitability adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Understandmarket trendsand propose new business ideas with long-term plans competitive analysis and growth expectations.

3. Business Growth & Market Expansion

  • Identify and pursuenew business opportunitiesin existing and emerging markets.
  • Develop and executego-to-market (GTM) strategiesfor new products and services.
  • Executegrowth plansby prioritizing engineering and project management needs ensuring ROI and GP targets.

4. Pricing & Commercial Strategy

  • Ownpricing commercial terms and profitabilityfor responsible products.
  • Developcustomer-specific pricing strategiesand business cases to meet financial targets.
  • Leadcontract negotiationsand support sales with proposals and presentations.

5. Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Work closely withsales teamsto develop customer relationships at all levels and hold regular business reviews.
  • Drivesales activitiesto meet/exceed annual budgets ensuring alignment between regional teams.
  • Gathercustomer feedbackto refine product features and performance.
  • Build and maintainstrategic relationshipswith key clients and partners.

6. Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution

  • Act as abridge between strategy and execution ensuring tactical alignment within account management.
  • Work closely withengineering sales marketing and manufacturingto deliver tailored solutions.
  • Ensureproject execution and deliverables including escalation management when needed.
  • Fine-tunebusiness development solutionsthrough value propositions and compelling sell stories.

Qualification:

  • 10 years of experience in product management and/or business development ideally in industrial sectors with a strong technical and commercial background.
  • Proven expertise instrategic business development for global markets with the ability to navigate cross-cultural dynamics.
  • Exceptionalcommunication negotiation and presentation skills with fluency inEnglishand proficiency inChinese (preferred).
  • Aresults-driven leadership style combininganalytical thinking project management and problem-solvingto drive growth in global cross-functional settings.
  • Experience inproduct lifecycle management pricing strategy and go-to-market executionwithin industrial sectors.
  • Willingness totravel internationallyand engage with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
