Job Description
Project Manager
Environmental Scientist PM
Our client an environmental consulting and remediation firm is seeking Environmental Scientists and Geologists to support site assessments field investigations and remediation projects throughout the South Jersey area.
Responsibilities:
-Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions while effectively overseeing subcontractor activities.
-Experienced in conducting a range of field tasks including:
-site inspections
-soil and groundwater sampling
-geophysical oversight
-monitoring well installation
-other remediation or monitoring work.
-Able to communicate clearly with supervisors and project managers from the field making sound decisions as situations arise.
-Strong technical writing skills and attention to grammar well-organized reports are essential
-Background in Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
Requirements:
-Bachelors degree or higher in geology environmental science or related scientific discipline
-3-10 years of technical experience in the environmental consulting/engineering industry
-Proven technical report writing skills with the ability to prepare documents such as
-Site Characterization Reports
-Site Investigation Reports
-Remedial Investigation Reports
-Remedial Action Reports.
-Direct experience conducting and reviewing Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) is required.
- PA Act 2 Land Recycling Remediation Projects
-Must demonstrate strong professionalism and effective communication skills when working with both clients and staff.
-Experience leading staff and preparing proposals is considered a plus.
