Job Summary:

Catawba Two Kings Casino is seeking a Director of Hotel to join our this role the successful candidate will act as a strategic and operational leader responsible for the overall performance guest experience and profitability of the hotel within Two Kings Casino & Hotel. This role oversees a 24-story 385-room hotel featuring 84 junior suites and 10 penthouse suites. The Director will lead departmental strategy manage multi-unit teams and drive continuous improvement in service excellence financial management operational efficiency labor management revenue generation and strategic planning to maintain the hotels reputation and success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in hospitality management business or related field preferred or seven (7) years of progressive hotel leadership experience in high-volume success in managing properties with 150 rooms preferably in gaming or resort environments.

  • Proven track record in Forbes Travel Guide AAA Diamond or equivalent luxury rating systems.

  • Strong knowledge financial acumen with experience in revenue optimization cost control budget development labor optimization and P&L management.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Catawba Gaming License as required by tribal and state authorities.

  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in casino or entertainment-based hotel environments.

  • Extensive experience in luxury hospitality operations guest relations and service delivery.

  • Deep understanding and passion of luxury hospitality trends competitive landscape guest expectations innovation and elevating team culture.

  • Advanced experience with hotel management systems property management and guest service platforms.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire diverse teams in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.

  • Flexibility in scheduling including availability to work nights weekends holidays and for special events as required by business needs.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint).

  • Excellent communication interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to work an alternate schedule as needed.

  • Ability to work in a loud fast-paced environment (may occasionally be exposed to second-hand cigarette smoke).

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; bend to open/use lower drawers or cabinetry; to talk hear and see. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
