Role Purpose
Why this role matters:
As a Flutter Developer you will help shape the user experience across our mobile products by building scalable high-performance cross-platform applications using Flutter with a solid understanding of native Android and iOS development. Your contributions will drive delivery of modern user-focused digital solutions across emerging markets.

In your first year you will deliver new Flutter features and enhancements strengthen technical foundations of our mobile solutions and optimize user experience and app stability across both iOS and Android.

Key Responsibilities
In this role you will:
Design and Develop: Build maintain and optimize high-quality cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter. Focus on performance and scalability while adhering to UX/UI best practices.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work alongside backend engineers UI/UX designers and product managers to deliver cohesive features that meet requirements and timelines.
Code Quality & Standards: Write clean maintainable Dart code. Assist in peer reviews and contribute to team-wide coding best practices.
Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot bugs and reduce performance bottlenecks to ensure a smooth user experience across devices and platforms.
Lifecycle Participation: Collaborate on the full app development cyclefrom concept through deployment on app stores and ongoing support.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on Flutter updates and evolving ecosystem trends. Suggest improvements to tooling patterns or libraries to enhance developer experience.
Qualifications & Attributes
Were seeking someone who embodies the following:
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
35 years of experience in mobile development with at least 12 years hands-on experience developing commercial Flutter applications.
Technical Skills:
Must-haves:
- Proficiency in Dart and Flutter
- Experience building mobile apps for both Android and iOS using a single codebase
- Comfortable with API integrations and consumption (RESTful services)
- Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD basics
- Knowledge of state management techniques (Provider Riverpod BLoC etc.)
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with Firebase GraphQL or similar backend-as-a-service tools
- Exposure to native development (Android or iOS)
- Understanding of app analytics and tools like Mixpanel Firebase Analytics etc.
