Production Analyst – KeyBank Real Estate Capital – Commercial Mortgage Group

The Analyst will provide support to the Commercial Production/Origination staff.

Highly motivated individual that works in an analytical role to support the production efforts for Keys mortgage capital markets platform. The analysts primary responsibilities are to work closely with the loan originators/bankers and other stakeholders in the analysis of commercial and multi-family properties across the United States. The profile of assets are commercial properties including office retail self-storage hotels industrial manufactured housing and apartments. The analysts work with the bankers to coordinate financing solutions across Keys numerous capital sources which include CMSB Investor Placement Debt Funds/Structured Bridge Lending Credit Tenant Lease and Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac/FHA.

The day-to-day responsibilities are as follows:

• Develop detailed working knowledge of underwriting parameters and requirements of all lending products.
• Model loan submissions in order to determine the viability of loan requests.
• Communicate with borrowers relationship managers and mortgage brokers to assist the banker in generating and processing new business while fostering relationships.
• Prepare loan submissions to third party capital lending sources and aid in the processing of the loans with third party investors.
• Assist bankers in shepherding loans through the due diligence and closing process.

The Analyst will provide industry market business and quantitative analysis support. This will include performing ad-hoc strategic and financial reporting. The Analyst is expected to have a continuous improvement mindset and would be empowered to recommend efficiencies for change. The Analyst will work on special projects as assigned.

• Bachelors degree required in finance accounting business administration economics or Real Estate.
• 2 years of experience in finance accounting real estate investment banking or consulting including Real Estate Finance.
• Demonstrated high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint experience with complex spreadsheets.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data from multiple computer systems.
• Ability to synthesize and analyze large amounts of data and communicate relevant findings.
• Demonstrated analytical approach to problem solving with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Proactive and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational skills ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Consultative service-oriented mindset.
• Outstanding oral communication written and presentation skills.
• The Analyst is expected to work in a KeyBank office 4-5 days per week.

• Proficiency in business intelligence tools a plus
• Previous work experience in commercial real estate finance and/or experience with CMBS Agency and Life Insurance lending programs a plus.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $75000 to $90000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
