Location: South Gate CA (100% Onsite Monday-Friday)
Compensation:$30-$31/hour (Temp) Up to $70000 annually (Permanent Placement)

Position Overview
Were seeking a Bilingual Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our growing HR team in a temp-to-hire capacity. This mid-level role is responsible for accurate payroll processing and benefits administration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented discreet and professional with hands-on experience using Paycom and a strong understanding of wage and hour compliance. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Process biweekly payroll with precision and timeliness ensuring full compliance with federal state and local regulations
- Maintain payroll records and handle wage garnishments deductions and adjustments
- Administer employee benefits programs including health dental vision 401(k) and leave tracking
- Respond to payroll and benefits inquiries in both English and Spanish with clarity and professionalism
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding terminations and employee status changes
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and internal policies
- Assist with audits reporting and year-end processes (e.g. W-2s ACA compliance)
- Support special HR and payroll-related projects as assigned

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration (experience in manufacturing design or related industries preferred)
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Paycom and strong skills in Microsoft Excel
- Solid understanding of California labor laws and payroll regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail organizational skills and discretion
- Strong communication abilities and a polished professional demeanor
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced onsite environment Monday through Friday
