Job Summary
The event host is responsible for facility rental coordination the day-of the event. During events this person serves as the primary contact for the client onsite event coordinator and liaison for 12th Street Catering on behalf of the Academy. Event rentals include but are not limited to corporate receptions birthday parties weddings and lectures. Many event rentals take place on weekends and in the evenings.
Event hosts will be prepped by the event sales team prior to each rental so they are highly aware of the timeline and prepared to work with vendors and the client on executing and ensuring a great guest experience. They will coordinate manage and troubleshoot with the Academys event support staff security and cleantech staff to ensure each event is a success . This is a customer service focused position.

This is a Part-Time Temporary position classified as offered pay is based on the successful candidates qualifications and experience departmentbudget and an internal equity review.
