Job Description
As a Data Analytics Intern at Summit Agricultural Group you will gain hands on experience within a diverse organization to help drive business needs.This opportunity will analyze trends create reports and support various projects while working closely with other analyst team members. The position will be based at our Alden Iowa headquarters.
Internship Program
Summits internship program is tailored to give you a unique experience while allowing you to grow in your area of study. Youll be expected to work hard and think with an entrepreneurial spirit in order to contribute your ideas for improving Summits businesses. While you will report to the Director of IT your overall experience will be overseen by our Internship Program Coordinator who will help to ensure a successful internship experience for you. At the end of the summer you will have the opportunity to present a comprehensive presentation to Summits management team outlining the experiences results and accomplishments you experienced during your time in the program.
Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting cleaning and organizing data from various sources.
- Analyze data sets to identify trends patterns and insights.
- Support the team in data related projects and initiatives.
- Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to Summit executive team.
- Collaborate with support departments to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
Requirements
- Completed Sophomore or Junior studying Data Science Statistics Mathematics Computer Science or related field.
- Familiarity with Excel SQL Python R Power BI Tableau
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team while maintaining strong written and verbal communication.
