Westfield Public Schools seeks qualified applicants for an Educational Team Leader for the 25/26 School Year:
JOB SUMMARY:Under the direction of authorized administrators shall:
- Chair team meetings in assigned buildings.
- Facilitate the development of Individual Education Plans.
- Write IEPs and complete paperwork for all IEP and non-IEP special education meetings.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations including timelines.
- Coordinate and schedule team meetings.
- Monitor completion of progress reports.
- Ensure all staff have appropriate access to special services student information.
- Maintain student files in accordance with privacy and confidentiality requirements.
- Monitor paraprofessional assignments.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the Superintendent of Schools or the Administrator of Special Education and Student Support Services.
REPORTS TO: Building Principal and Administrator of Special Education and Student Support Services.
Salary and terms of employment will be commensurate with the Westfield Public Schools Unit A contract. Salary placement will be based on the information contained in the application as submitted.
Performance on this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Westfield School Committee policy on evaluation.
This position contingent upon funding.
