Job Summary

The team

You will be part of the Business Finance team and work closely with the Senior and Financial Accountant to ensure timely and quality deliverables. The Finance department consists of 8 people.

Your role

Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial data and reconciliation for reporting and tax filing.

Take full ownership of AP operations including (but not limited to) creditor management invoice processing bank/credit card reconciliation cash disbursement and process improvement
Ensure correct VAT recording able to review and consolidate VAT for all entities and make preparation for quarter VAT filing
Be the main contact for supplier and other teams regarding invoices and payments
Assist in month-end procedures such as accruals depreciations and balance sheet reconciliation
Assist in team-level projects

Your profile

0-1 years proven experience as a junior accountant or similar role.
Relevant studies in accounting finance or related fields.
Excellent organising abilities.
Great attention to detail.
Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen.
You have a proactive approach and work ethic including discretion and confidentiality.
Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
Excellent knowledge of Google Workspace (or MS Office) and familiarity with relevant ERP software.
