Radiology Service Dunedin Hospital

Salary Band $77087 per annum p.a pro rata Kiwisaver

Tertiary Hospital setting with interesting cases and more opportunities to become the very best.

About the Role

Exciting Opportunity for New Graduate MITs Radiology Services Dunedin Hospital

We are seeking dynamic and proactive New Graduate Medical Imaging Technologists (MITs) to contribute to the efficient and effective delivery of radiology services at Dunedin Hospital.

In this role you will be actively involved in the day-to-day operations of our imaging department ensuring high-quality service delivery while supporting a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Youll thrive in a fast-paced dynamic setting offering a variety of work and opportunities to learn.

About the Team/Service/ Location

You will be part of a large team of MITs who work to provide imaging services to a large Tertiary hospital. Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora - Southern has the largest geographical coverage of all the New Zealand regions providing services to 350000 people in diverse communities. We take pride in all the services we provide and our aim is to improve promote and protect the health of our region. Firstly Congratulations on nearly completing your final year of study!

After all your hard work its now time to move on to that next step of your first post graduate role and we would like to take the opportunity for you to join us here at Dunedin Hospitals Radiology department.

To be considered for this position you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Approachable and professional with a team-player mentality.
  • A natural affinity for relationship building with both patients and staff alike.
  • Be a team player through and through with refined communication skills.
  • Working towards completion of tertiary study in 2024 and be able to apply for an Annual Practicing Certificate and registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board.
  • Highly adaptable motivated and work efficiently. You must have the ability to cover both the on call and shift roster.
