Overview
In April YOKOGAWA announced its new mid-term business plan Growth for Sustainability (GS2028). Among the core strategic growth areas Energy Storage Solutions (ESS) is expected to experience explosive growth. To address the evolving needs of this high-potential sector we are seeking experienced consultants with deep knowledge of power transmission/distribution and energy market operations who can deliver real actionable solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients from the early planning stage of new ESS projects including feasibility studies and revenue simulations
- Develop and deliver detailed proposals that address customer needs from concept through to system implementation
- Provide strategic suggestions to improve profitability and system performance post-deployment
- Educate and support internal sales and engineering teams to enhance understanding of ESS business and solutions
- Contribute to succession planning and mentoring of junior team members
Required Knowledge Skills and Experience
- Hands-on experience in power transmission/distribution systems or energy market trading
- Ability to calculate projected earnings and conduct financial feasibility assessments for energy storage and trading projects
- Previous consulting experienceeither as a consultant or as a recipient of consulting services
