Job Description

Based in Dublin our client is looking for an experienced VP Technical - Powerplant to manage key aspects of their powerplant operations and provide technical expertise across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage powerplant activities across various aircraft lease agreements.
  • Oversee engine shop visits and maintenance reserve claims.
  • Provide technical support for aircraft transitions and work with MROs and OEMs.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts within the MRO network.
  • Keep the team informed of market and industry updates.
  • Manage spare engine operations and develop creative solutions for engine optimization.

About You:

  • Hold an Engineering Honours Degree EASA Part 66 license or equivalent qualification.
  • Have at least five years of experience in a technical role within airlines OEMs or leasing.
  • Expertise in at least two major engine types (CFM GE IAE PW or RR).
  • Proven track record in negotiating and managing MRO contracts.
  • Strong communication analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to travel extensively as needed.
