Description
The Software Engineer shall be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test suites and frameworks using the PyTest and Cypress testing frameworks. The Software Engineer shall collaborate with mission stakeholders to understand project requirements and identify test automation opportunities to ensure the quality and reliability of a mission-focused enterprise web application in a Linux environment.
This position has eight hours of telework per week.
Clearance
A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Experience
Masters degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university or bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity or four (4) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity.

- Experience developing Bash/Python scripts
- Experience developing with Python in a Linux environment
- Experience with web technologies (e.g. HTML CSS JavaScript) and web application development
- Experience with the Cypress testing framework
- Experience with the PyTest testing framework
- Experience with REST interfaces
- Experience with CI/CD principles methodologies and tools such as GitLab CI
- Experience with Git Source Control System
- Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience with the Django Web framework
- Experience developing UI using the React JavaScript framework
- Familiar with SQL technologies such as MariaDB
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
