Senior / Project Controls Engineer Singapore Rolling Contract
Location: Tuas Singapore
No. of Positions: 2 Senior and 1 Junior position available
Job Scope: Assist the Engineering Manager and Project Managers to Budget implement track monitor for project cost and schedule to help deliver benefits and commitment of the site capital plan.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Implement site CAPEX Process such as planning monitoring Approval and reporting process
- Work with Site Project Manaher to deliver procurement / project saving or cost avoidance
- Provide cost estimation during the feasibility / design phase of key site projects such as New Project Introduction related project
- Support Project Managers in providing financial commentary in the Project investment Proposal including any Asset write off cost (Net Book Value) and Project completion milestones
- Monitor and track project progress and ensure adherence to approved project schedule & cash flow
- Administer site Measured Term Contracts
- Manage and update cost database
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelors degree in any engineering discipline
- Preferably 3-5 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry (Min. 5 years for Senior position)
- Good understanding of cost estimation principle
- Understanding of plant and facilities constructability sequence
- Good understanding of GMP GEP and EHS requirements
- Sound commercial knowledge (Including contractual law)
- Basic Project Management skills
- Familiarisation with Capital Project Financial Guidelines
