South Wairarapa Practice Partnership (SWPP) is seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead daily operations at our Greytown Medical this key leadership role youll ensure high-quality patient-centred care through effective team management financial oversight and operational excellence.
About the Role
As Operations Manager youll work closely with the Business Manager Clinical Director and Clinical Leads to ensure seamless practice operations. Youll manage frontline and back-office services support clinical and admin teams and oversee financial and compliance activities.
This is a people-focused role requiring strong leadership communication and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily site operations
Lead and support administrative/support staff
Manage enrolments and patient services
Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and policy
Oversee billing revenue and financial processes (Xero & PMS)
Support inbox appointment template and clinical admin systems
Act as on-site point of escalation for patient complaints
Champion a high-performance culturally safe team culture
About You
Were looking for someone who:
Has experience in operations or practice management (health sector desirable)
Is a confident team leader and communicator
Understands financial systems (e.g. Xero) and healthcare funding
Thrives in a dynamic multi-tasking environment
Embraces the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and health equity
Values collaboration inclusion and patient-centred care
