is seeking qualified candidates to join our Cross Border Exports Logistics team. reaches customers around the globe on all seven continents and are in need of individuals who want to help ensure a fast cost effective solution to delivering packages to every far reach of the world. The AGL team is looking for a strong candidate for the role of Program Manager- Cross Border Carrier this role the successful candidate will understand Amazons Fulfillment Network and will develop optimized processes to handle exports shipments to connected countries via ground/air shipping options. They will develop a process path to enable a cost effective fast delivery service to our customers in neighboring countries clearing Customs and delivering through the last mile. The successful candidate will thrive off waking up daily and determining how well we performed to our goals and how we satisfied our customers today. Knowledge of transportation operations across LTL FTL customs and last mile is a key strength for the ideal candidate. Functional knowledge of data an analysis tools standard deviation fundamentals and graphical data presentation models to highlight wins and misses will be integral to this role. A successful candidate will be able to show proven results in developing action plans as well as improvements implemented as a result of those plans. Additionally a successful candidate will be able to display strength influencing cross functional teams to take action on the data as well as developing action items to improve results over the short and long term.
- 1.3 years of program or project management experience
- 2.3 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3.3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- degree
- of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements
- interpreting internal requirements to external logistics service providers (LSP)
- English and Mandarin Chinese written and verbal communication skills
- 1.3 years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 2.3 years of driving process improvements experience
- in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- building processes project management and schedules
- about end to end cross border transportation management especially driving the right balance between cost and efficiency improvement through managing various LSPs across different regions
