Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of user access within the banks systems and applications. This position is responsible for implementing and managing IAM policies technologies and practices to ensure appropriate user access compliance with internal controls and adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g. FFIEC GLBA SOX). The ideal candidate will bring a detail-oriented mindset and a passion for security in a community banking environment. This position is for highly motivated and focused individuals who are interested in being part of a fast paced and hardworking team.


RESPONSIBILITES

  • Provision modify and revoke user access across FIS IBS core banking systems internal applications and third-party platforms in accordance with approved procedures and role-based access controls.
  • Manage the full user lifecycle including onboarding offboarding transfers role changes and name changes through standardized workflows developed in collaboration with HR and system owners.
  • Monitor and analyze access logs and audit trails to detect and report suspicious activity ensuring proper segregation of duties (SoD) and compliance with FFIEC SOX and internal control requirements.
  • Facilitate periodic user access reviews with department heads maintaining clean audit trails and alignment with governance policies and audit expectations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for access-related issues requests and escalations providing clear guidance and timely support to managers and end users.
  • Collaborate with IT Compliance HR and business units to enforce IAM policies support internal and external audits and ensure accurate and timely access provisioning.
  • Maintain comprehensive IAM documentation including procedures workflows standards and access review schedules.
  • Track investigate and resolve provisioning issues continuously identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.

RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS

  • Reports to VP Financial Systems Manager
  • Works closely with HR IT vISO Compliance and Internal Audit
  • Interacts with Third-Party Vendors Executive Management Group Leaders Department Managers and end users as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates degree in a Business or Technical Discipline (i.e. Computer Science and Information Systems) relevant certificate or equivalent professional experience required.
  • 2 years of experience in access management user provisioning or a similar function within a regulated environment preferred.
  • Experience in a banking or financial services environment.
  • Experience with FIS Core preferred.
  • Understanding of access control principles identity lifecycle management and regulatory frameworks (FFIEC SOX GLBA) preferred.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and access request workflows preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent with written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • High degree of integrity and commitment to protecting sensitive information.
  • Understands the importance of SoD and compliance in provisioning activities preferred.
  • Works effectively across departments to coordinate access activities and ensure process integrity.
  • Provides timely responsive support to end users and managers.
  • Must be a self-starter with analytical detailed and multitasked oriented and with complex problem -solving abilities.
  • Must possess strong time management prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Personal computer competency - intermediate to advanced level using Word Excel OneNote Teams and Outlook.
  • Ability to navigate through different resources computerized and manual to assist with problem identification and resolution.
  • Must possess a strong willingness for continuous learning and growth; remain current on advancements in technologies or best practices.
