Job Description
Garda Capital Partners (Garda) is a multi-billion dollar alternative investment firm with over 21 years of experience deploying relative value strategies across fixed income markets for institutional investors. Gardas primary offices are located in Wayzata New York City West Palm Beach Geneva Zug Copenhagen Singapore and Scottsdale.
Garda is looking for aTrading Intern to join the team in Singapore for a 3-month internship during Summer 2026. In the course of the internship you will be exposed to the analytics used in trading working closely with a mentor who will provide guidance and feedback.
Position Responsibilities
- Support portfolio managers by improving trading and risk spreadsheets and systems
- Assist in the development of screeners and trading signals to complement investment decisions
- Support the teams research process including data collection and analysis prototyping backtesting and performance monitoring
Qualifications & Desired Skills
- Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree in statistics financial engineering applied math finance computer science or similar quantitative or technical discipline
- Exceptional quantitative & programming skills (Python & SQL)
- Knowledge and interest in financial markets
- Ability to work effectively in a high-energy time-sensitive team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented nature with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Intellectual curiosity and motivation to innovate and improve
Monthly compensation for this role is expected to be 10000 SGD
Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills experience and relevant education.
Monthly Compensation for this role is expected to be between:
$10000 - $10000 SGD
