Role At A Glance
At Paystand were transforming financial infrastructureand we want curious builders to join us. As a Junior Fullstack Engineer youll get hands-on experience contributing to real-world systems guided by experienced mentors. Youll work across the stack learn best practices and explore how emerging technologieslike AIcan shape the future of finance.
What Youll Do
- Work alongside experienced engineers to build features across the frontend and backend.
- Help improve real-world systems by writing clean maintainable code.
- Learn how to design and debug components APIs and services through hands-on experience.
- Take part in code reviews and team discussions to grow your technical skills.
- Explore how AI can support developmentlike tools that help with coding testing or making smarter product decisions.
What Youll Bring:
Experience:
- 13 years of experience in web or hybrid application development (internships and personal projects count!).
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to all parts of the development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
Technical Foundations:
- Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6) and familiarity with and .
- Exposure to frontend frameworks such as React Angular or Vue.
- Basic understanding of functional programming concepts (e.g. immutability pure functions).
- Experience with HTML CSS and modern layout techniques.
- Familiarity with Git version control and modern dev tools.
- Willingness to work with cloud services containerization tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to learn ask questions and grow with feedback.
- Enthusiasm for solving problems and building great user experiences.
Bonus Points For:
- Personal or academic projects using AI blockchain or smart contracts.
- Contributions to open-source projects or participation in hackathons.
- Experience with Docker Kubernetes or any cloud platform (AWS GCP Azure).
