What youll be doing

As a key member in the team you will support the Vice President New Brand Development in the execution of the strategic repositioning and launch of a new globally competitive hospitality brand under the Shangri-La portfolio. Assist in driving brand innovation ensuring seamless integration of the new brand concept into both existing and new properties and delivering differentiated guest experiences. Act as a key player in project management from conceptualization to launch working across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Brand Strategy & Development

  • Assist in the development and execution of the brand vision positioning and value proposition.
  • Conduct competitive analysis market research and consumer insight studies to inform brand development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President to implement brand guidelines tone of voice and guest experience frameworks.
  • Support the integration of the new brand into Shangri-Las overarching brand portfolio and long-term strategy.

Project Management & Execution

  • Oversee day-to-day project management for the brand development process ensuring timelines budgets and objectives are met.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (design operations marketing and technology) to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Track project milestones deliverables and budgets providing regular updates to the Vice President and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all tasks and activities are executed on time maintaining brand consistency and quality.

Product & Experience Innovation

  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and refine unique guest experiences that align with the new brands vision.
  • Support operational teams in integrating brand concepts into new and existing hotel properties.
  • Assist in identifying and securing partnerships or programming that reinforce the brands identity and enhance the guest experience.

Commercialization & Growth

  • Work with marketing teams to support the growth of the brand in target markets supporting branding promotional and activation strategies.
  • Assist with the execution of pre-opening and rebranding initiatives ensuring consistency in the guest experience and brand identity.
  • Assist in financial modeling and return-on-investment (ROI) analysis for new brand initiatives and property developments.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Provide regular updates on project progress to the Vice President New Brand Development and other senior stakeholders.
  • Foster collaboration and alignment across internal teams including Development Operations Marketing and Design.
  • Support the management of external relationships with agencies consultants and research firms to drive project outcomes.

What were looking for

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management brand development or hospitality-related fields.
  • Proven experience in assisting with brand development repositioning or hotel project management in a global or regional context.
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy consumer insights and experience design.
  • Experience working in China or Asia-Pacific markets is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional project management skills with a keen eye for detail timelines and quality control.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed organization and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in both entrepreneurial and corporate environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive under pressure.
