Job Description
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for executing materials planning and control to support on-going operations and expansions of multiple data centers within an assigned region. This is an individual contributor role with a focus on warehouse/storage facility management inventory management and control and goods receiving and distribution.
Key job responsibilities
Warehouse Management: inventory planning and regular cycle count ensure inventory accuracy and optimize inventory level and availability physical warehouse management.
Logistics Functions: goods receiving transfer distribution and related operations in system liaise with suppliers and our internal teams respond to requests or queries from internal and external customers.
Procurement: PR/PO handling delivery and payment monitoring.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor Degree 2 year experience in logistics Strong understanding of shipping & receiving inventory and warehousing practices. Able to read and take direction by English. Experience in ERP system and other statistical analysis tools. Strong communication and inter-personal skills and able to effectiveness communicate with international counterparts. Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel)
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of IT Industry Logistics would be an advantage.
