An Independent Living and Assisted Living with Memory Care senior community

Pay Rate: $19/hr.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise housekeeping staff and coordinate schedules to ensure proper cleaning of offices public areas residences and common areas.
  • Plan and schedule cleaning programs including annuals move-in preparations and window and carpet cleaning.
  • Monitor inventory levels order necessary equipment and supplies and ensure safe handling and storage.
  • Assist housekeeping staff with cleaning duties including floors restrooms kitchens resident laundry and apartments.
  • Help with the make-ready of vacant apartments as assigned.
  • Strive to maintain a safe working environment ensure staff follow all safety standards and applicable health codes and promptly report safety and security incidents.
  • Ensure proper control of keys equipment supplies inventory and other property.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Be an active member of the communitys emergency response team.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene per company policies.
  • Perform duties of other housekeeping staff in the event of absenteeism and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2-3 years of related experience; housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents families staff vendors and the general public.
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Compassion for and desire to work with seniors.
  • Ability to implement cleaning programs complete checklists and maintain work records and reports.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to direct the work of others in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
