General Summary:
The High School Athletics Events Manager is responsible for supporting the athletic department with supervision and execution aspects of fall winter and spring sporting events within the athletic department. This role involves coordinating logistics and ensuring a seamless experience for participants spectators and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event coordination preferably in a sports or athletics environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and customer service.
- Knowledge of event management tools.
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required by the event schedule.
Essential Job Functions:
- Game-Day Operations: Oversee all aspects of game-day operations including setup signage ticketing concessions crowd control and emergency response procedures under the direction of the Athletic Director.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations policies and procedures governing fall sports events including safety protocols and eligibility requirements.

Terms of Employment:
- Supervised and evaluated annually by the Athletic Director using the support staff evaluation tool.
- Temporary position one school year at a time. Annual renewal is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of the Superintendent/Deputy Superintendent.
- 7-10 Hours/Week (planning/coordination and direct high school athletic event supervision). These hours are after the school day including evening weekend and holiday break(s) as arranged and assigned by the Athletic Director.
- The Athletics Event Coordinator plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall experience for student-athletes coaches and fans contributing to the success and reputation of the athletic program.
