Job Description

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a full time experienced physician assistant (PA-C) or nurse practitioner (APRN) to join our cardiothoracic surgery and transplant/MCS team at Florida Advanced Cardiothoracic Surgery in Largo FL. APP will be responsible for first assisting in all CVOR cases inpatient rounding in the ICU and floors consult and post-operative clinic duties. Our practice sees a wide variety of pathologies and has a high acuity patient census and is an excellent opportunity for a PA/NP interested in practicing at the top of their scope. Our team include 3 surgeons and 6 APPs currently.



Qualified Candidates:

Must be board certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Must hold or be able to obtain an active Florida license prior to start
Surgical First Assist experience is required
Endoscopic Vein Harvest (EVH) experience is required
Experience in advanced heart failure (LVAD impella ECMO heart transplant) is a bonus
Call will be 1:4 which includes one weekend per month
