Job Description
Were looking for a Software Development Engineer OpenText Exstream with 13 years of experience in IT to join our high-performing this role youll contribute to the full software development lifecycle focusing on building and maintaining dynamic customer communication solutions using OpenText Exstream scripting languages and database technologies.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Skills
Design code configure and debug OpenText Exstream (Dialogue) applications including layouts tables variables barcodes placeholders and complex business rules.
Map structured driver/reference data files and use copybooks/layouts for data handling.
Participate in the full development lifecycle including integration testing UAT support and deployment.
Collaborate in code reviews design reviews and release/build management processes.
Perform system monitoring maintenance and issue resolution to meet SLAs and industry standards.
Work in Unix/Linux environments and manage Exstream version upgrades.
Support client-facing teams with application troubleshooting and documentation.
Develop reusable components and ensure best practices in performance security and compliance.
Additional Technical Skills:
Knowledge of Linux/Unix/Windows OS C#/.NET/Python KSH scripting
Database proficiency with Oracle SQL Server or equivalent
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Agile/Scrum experience preferred; SAFe knowledge is a plus
