Position Overview
The Temporary Painter is tasked with enhancing and maintaining the hotels aesthetic appeal through painting and finishing work on interiors and exteriors. This role ensures all surfaces reflect the hotels 5-star standards by performing painting tasks touch-ups and minor maintenance efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing painting and finishing work on walls doors windows furniture and other surfaces within the hotel.
- Preparing surfaces for painting including cleaning sanding and priming as needed.
- Applying paint stain varnish or other finishes with precision and care.
- Maintaining painting tools and equipment in proper working condition.
- Ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and complies with health regulations.
- Completing tasks efficiently to minimize disruption to hotel operations.
- Assisting with touch-ups and minor maintenance as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent with formal training in painting and finishing techniques.
- Experience: Proven experience in painting and finishing preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Skills:
- Proficient in various painting methods and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Skilled in using painting tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.
