More specifically the Internal Firm Services (IFS) is the beating heart of everything we do at PwC. IFS is made up of various teams including our Independence Compliance & Business Conduct Function and together we form the support network of the entire firm. As part of IFS well guide you to becoming a vital contributor in providing our colleagues and clients the best possible experience at PwC.
Our Independence Compliance & Business Conduct Team helps the firm its partners and staff manage a range of regulatory and professional requirements to ensure the firms independence from audit and assurance clients. We advise a broad range of internal stakeholders on the Independence requirements surrounding PwCs relationships and interactions with third parties and we use Global compliance systems and processes to clear and monitor arrangements within our vast community of solvers. As an Project Trainee in the Independence & Compliance Team youll make a real impact in a workplace thats human-led and tech-enabled.

Job Description

As a Project Trainee youll work as part of a team of problem solvers facilitating to solve complex business issues. As part of our Independence Compliance & Business Conduct team youll be responsible for the following:
  • Manage core Independence & Compliance systems
  • Participate in an international network of Independence and Business Conduct specialists.
  • Generate and analyze reports using Power BI for comprehensive insights into Independence systems;
  • Train users and ensure the correct use of PwC Global compliance systems.
  • Ensure Independence controls and Compliance monitoring activities are appropriately applied.
  • Manage service delivery to ensure that Independence & Compliance queries are answered promptly.
  • Seek and embrace opportunities which give exposure to different situations environments and perspectives.
  • Use feedback and reflection to develop self-awareness personal strengths and address development areas.
  • Delegate to others to provide stretch opportunities and coach them to deliver results.
  • Review your work and that of others for quality accuracy and relevance.
  • Uphold the firms code of ethics and business conduct.

Minimum Years of Experience & Qualification Required:
  • Experience: Fresh graduates or up to 1 year of experience.
  • Qualification: ACCA or a Bachelors degree in Accounting & Finance.
