Blue Care are proud to have established a specialised Palliative Care Team with services across rural and remote locations in Queensland. As we continue to develop and expand our innovative service model we have an opportunity for a Clinical Nursing Consultant to be part of a growing team that is renowned for providing quality end of life care to clients and their families.
As a CNC in our team you will provide high quality leadership and expert palliative care advice relating to complex care issues as well as providing nursing care within the scope of our clinical practice. You will develop implement monitor and review care plans to meet client health care needs and to promote quality of life.
Supported by our Nurse Practitioners you will work towards our believes in that every Queenslander deserves the peace of mind to receive quality palliative care in the comfort of their own home. Our palliative care program provides holistic care through the provision of multi-disciplinary services across metropolitan and regional their greatest time of need Blue Care is there for them.

What makes a difference for us
Current Registered Nurse Licence and Registration Certificate to practice in the State where employed.
Demonstrated extensive clinical experience in area of specialty and Post Graduate qualifications in palliative care or working towards.
Provision of a high standard of flexible and responsive management and clinical leadership.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge in relevant funding stream
Ability to attend to a variety of travel assignments for varying periods of time.
Mid to senior level general nursing experience and demonstrated skills reflective of clinical experience and person-centred care.
Proven ability to communicate and interact with clients and other stakeholders to identify and respond effectively to care needs.
Current drivers licence with confidence to drive within rural and remote Queensland.
