Project Management Specialist

Company:

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Senior Program Management Specialist to join our team in Hazelwood MO Oklahoma City OK or Warner Robins GA.

These positions will act in a technical and strategic role directly supporting the USAF System Program Offices (SPOs) in support of all USAF and Defense Logistics Agency and Program Depot Maintenance (PDM) level this role you will interface with a variety of internal stakeholders and as well the DLA and USAF customers.

Position Responsibilities:

• Independently develops coordinates integrates analyzes and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards
• Performs studies analysis (trend variance impact) risk assessments to determine impacts and constraints involving product development production rates process improvement program initiatives
• Creates schedule reports metrics change activity communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project
• Works to improve project management processes business systems and implement best practices that support project decision makers
• Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion
• Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
• Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3 years experience working in Supply Chain Management Finance or Program Management
• 2 years experience working with Defense Logistics Agency/Air Force
• Experience working independently and with a cross-functional team
• Willing & able to travel 10% of the time domestically

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 4 years experience working in Supply Chain Management Finance or Program Management
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent or military experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Familiarity with Risk Issue Opportunity (RIO) Management

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.
