Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a professional laboratory team fostering collaboration and growth.
- Oversee daily laboratory operations scheduling and production output.
- Ensure rigorous QA/QC compliance including document control corrective actions SOP reviews and audit responses.
- Manage equipment maintenance repairs calibrations and consumable inventory.
- Oversee service verification invoice accuracy and reconciliation.
- Coordinate subcontracted work to meet turnaround times.
- Serve as the point of contact for clients and participate in professional association events.
- Facilitate effective communication across the laboratory network.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience; commercial laboratory experience required.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory process management quality controls and LIMS systems.
- Familiarity with AIHA and/or ELAP audit requirements preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office; excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
