Job Title: Student Worker - Office Assistant for Computer Science - Fall 2025

Job Classification:Administrative and Office Services Student

Department: Computer Science

Hiring Manager: Candace Ditsch

Contact:

Work Schedule: Time frame is 10-15 hours a week; flexible based on class schedule.

Desired Length of Employment: Ongoing

Pay Rate: $9.50/hr

Job Description:

Friendly and personable: greet students and guests with excellent customer service give directions and answer questions.
Office support: restock supplies tidy up the office area hang flyers and provide some computer and phone assistance.
Confidential: handle documents mail copying scanning and shredding.
Dependable: maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Campus-traveler: retrieve or distribute mail or other items around campus.
Event services: assist with preparation setup and cleanup for lunches ceremonies and meetings.
Ability to comply with University policies.
DUE TO THE CONFIDENTIAL NATURE OF THIS POSITION STUDENTS TAKING COMPUTER SCIENCE (CSI) COMPUTER SCIENCE FELLOWS (CSF) CYBERSECURITY (CYB) BIOINFORMATICS (BINF) OR DATA SCIENCE (DSC) COURSES ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE.

Work Location: Mostly Cashion and Hankamer Academic Centers around campus on occasion.
