Job Description

Maintenance Technician - Manufacturers Products for Retailers/Government Contracts

Company Information:

  • Manufacturer providing products to large retailers and government contracts.
  • Investing in equipment partially climate controlled.

Benefits and Features:

- 223 Day Shift Schedule being implemented. Your role with the Company:

  • Perform general maintenance works well to avoid possible failures and possible malfunctions
  • Assist in developing preventative and corrective maintenance programs
  • Complete daily work assignments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Analyze repair requests and troubleshoot them
  • Perform installations and assembling fitting repairs and replacement as needed
  • Handle emergency maintenance and repair works
  • Stock adequate maintenance materials and equipment to avoid shortages and excesses
  • Maintain work area clean safe and organized
  • Operate maintenance equipment safely to avoid accidents
  • Maintain the maintenance tools and equipment in safe clean and good working conditions
  • Provide assistance to co-workers when needed
  • Attend job training and safety programs organized by maintenance department
  • Adhere to company policies safety regulations and OSHA requirements
  • Perform maintenance tasks based on pictures blueprints written descriptions and oral instructions from Manager

Background:

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Prefer 2 years experience working in maintenance on automated machinery in the cosmetics food or pharmaceutical industryworking on mechanical electrical 3 Phase Power and480 voltage.
  • Experience working with conveyors pneumatics hydraulics compressors pumps belts bearings preventative maintenance and PLCs (Ladder Logic and not programming).
  • Experience working on packaging or batching equipment is highly desired.
