We are seeking a skilled and proactive German-speaking System Administrator to join our team ensuring the stability security and performance of our server infrastructure. This role involves managing incidents conducting root cause analysis and implementing optimization measures across hybrid environments.
Please note that on-call duties are part of the role and require 24/7 availability on a rotating basis
Manage incidents and problems to ensure stable service operations
Conduct root cause analysis and implement optimization measures
Monitor server infrastructure proactively using SCOM
Design and document highly available server environments
Administer and harden Active Directory domains per Microsoft best practices (e.g. ESAE)
Manage public key infrastructures and implement security measures (e.g. email encryption port security)
Operate hybrid identity solutions using AD FS and Azure AD Connect
Plan and execute regular patch rollouts
Maintain operational documentation and support knowledge transfer to 1st and 2nd level teams
Provide technical support to colleagues and customers
Define load balancer profiles for virtual services
Manage hardware and software releases and refresh cycles
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in similar role and skilled in the following systems & tools:
Microsoft AD WSUS Intune APT (Linux)
PatchMyPC PKI (Windows-based) Dell OME
SCOM SCCM Greenbone
Windows & Debian Linux OS
HyperV Failover Clusters DNS/DHCP (AD integrated)
Entra Connect ADFS Kerberos TLS/SSL
IIS Apache Tomcat IDRAC
Microsoft SCOR File Services (with Quota) MSSQL 2022
Oracle (ARS) MySQL/Galera Cluster UPS (Powerchute)
Required Certifications:
ITIL Foundation or equivalent IT service management certification
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills in German (C1) and English
Strong problem-solving and collaboration abilities
Ability to document processes and mentor junior staff
