The Opportunity

As a Transformer Service Consultant youll be the trusted technical advisor bridging our sales teams and data center clients across the United States. This is more than a jobits a chance to shape the reliability and resilience of the digital backbone of modern life.
Youll travel nationwide uncovering service opportunities defining scopes of work and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored transformer solutions. Whether its refurbishing aging infrastructure or deploying cutting-edge digital monitoring systems your work will directly impact uptime efficiency and sustainability in mission-critical environments.
How Youll Make an Impact
Identify service opportunities at data center sites across the U.S.
Define scopes of work and collaborate with tendering teams to develop quotes
Troubleshoot transformer systems including controls oil processing and electrical testing
Conduct pre-job and post-job site walks with customers and internal teams
Assist with on-site project management including budget schedule and manpower
Compose detailed reports and field documentation for internal and customer use
Support sales safety and service planning teams with technical insights
Travel nationwide up to 60% to support customer needs
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines
Your Background
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 10 years of field experience in transformer repair
At least 2 years as a field crew leader
Strong understanding of transformer systems and oil testing standards
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and ability to learn Salesforce
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
