You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Centre for Research and Development in Learning at Nanyang Technological University Singapore () seeks applicants with a Bachelors degree in Psychology Sociology Education research or related field for a Research Assistant Position.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of research project on vertical leadership development for school leadership professional development
Liaise and work closely with stakeholders from schools and project collaborators.
Conduct literature reviews and prepare research progress reports.
Day to day coordination of interviewing schedules for data collection.
Conducting interviews and transcription of audio recorded interviews.
Conducting field observations and document analysis
Perform data analysis and reporting of findings.
Perform research-related administrative work such as purchase of material/equipment for research.
Carry any other duties as required by Principal Investigator.
Manage day to day operations and meticulous record keeping of the research project.
Systems administration including maintenance of data security.
Organize research workshop for research findings dissemination.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors (Honours) degree in Psychology Sociology Education research or related field from a university of good standing.
Experience with qualitative research methods is preferred.
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills with a good command of the English language to perform literature reviews prepare research progress reports and create visual infographics for presentations.
Good project coordination and administration skills including data management and storage.
Willing to travel to school sites for data collection.
Excellent organizational skills and able to work within given deadlines.
Self-directed learner who effectively picks up relevant skills as needed.
Task-orientation excellent organizational skills attention to details and accuracy flexibility in responding to fluid situations good interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work independently.
Experience with Singapore school system teaching experience and qualitative research experience is preferred.
Possess strong organizational skills and high degree of meticulousness
