QA Engineer

Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible to test the products within the defined criteria against the functionality and features developed by the development team. The person shall also be responsible for making sure the possible scenarios are covered during the test or not.
Responsibilities / Essential Functions

• Interact with product owner project manager and Development and QA teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives
• Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases
• Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function
• Develop and lead the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles using Selenium
• Execute and analyze automation test results.
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
• Document track and escalate issues as appropriate using Selenium tool
• Support production deployment of applications and perform validation testing during the off-hours maintenance windows

• Bachelors in computer applications or similar field. Advanced education preferred.
• 3 years of experience in software testing
• Good development/scripting skills in common languages like C# JAVA PERL C etc.
• Database skills mainly in SQL Server
• Experience of automated testing tool Selenium
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming J2EE etc.
• Worked on Selenium Framework for Web Applications
• Relevant work experience in development and/or testing role
• Good experience with different Operating Systems
• Fluent Verbal and Written English Communication Skills
• Client Communication
• A good Team Player
• Highly motivated & self-driven with a proven ability to perform multi-tasking
• Achieving assigned Deadlines
• Never give up attitude
