Senior RTR Accountant Cork COE
As a Senior RTR Accountant youll play a key role in delivering accurate and compliant financial reporting for FMCs Global business units while also driving value-added activities beyond traditional accounting. This role goes beyond month-end close youll partner with stakeholders globally mentor colleagues and contribute to ongoing projects in automation systems and process improvement.
What Youll Do
- Lead and deliver complex R2R activities: reconciliations variance analysis and balance sheet reviews.
- Manage month- and quarter-end close ensuring compliance with deadlines and standards.
- Support treasury (cash reconciliation currency exposure) and income tax accruals.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP local GAAP SOX and audit requirements.
- Work with global stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and provide analysis.
- Contribute to system upgrades and automation projects (SAP S/4 HANA Blackline Alteryx).
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues within the team.
Your Profile
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or equivalent.
- Professional qualification (CPA ACCA CIMA ACA) strongly preferred.
- 4 years relevant accounting experience ideally in a multinational or shared service environment.
- ERP experience (SAP S/4 HANA an advantage) Blackline/Alteryx desirable.
- Skilled in handling complex accounting issues and providing analysis.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proactive independent and solutions-focused.
- Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues is an advantage.
