Here is what you need to know about the job:
We are now seeking a full-timeSenior Fashion Designer (Sweater)to join our team.
What youll do is to...
Develop design collections based on customer needs and market trends ensuring alignment with quality standards and budget requirements.
Prepare and present design materials including trend boards design sketches illustrations and CADs for internal teams and client presentations.
Conduct in-depth trend research and project creative directions to develop commercially viable collections leading to detailed specifications for fittings and production.
Monitor the design schedule to ensure timely completion in alignment with the development calendar.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external teams including digital designers merchandisers suppliers and factory technicians to ensure smooth execution from concept to production.
Maintain a strong awareness of yarns stitches and knitwear innovation. Explore new materials and techniques relevant to customer profiles.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
You will thrive in the role if you
Higher Diploma or above in Knitwear Design Fashion Design or a related field.
Strong product and yarn knowledge with a solid understanding of the sweater development process.
Excellent illustration skills and the ability to produce creative and focused visual presentations.
Proven creative abilities and a strong design sense.
Good awareness of trends and their relevance to the brand paired with an excellent sense of color.
Strong command of spoken and written English.
Proficiency in AI PSD and Adobe Illustrator; experience with Apex and CLO is a plus.
Familiarity with the US market would be an advantage.
