About the role

Russell McVeagh is searching for a Senior Solicitor to join our market-leading Real Estate team. Our Real Estate team provides advice to New Zealands most sophisticated property investors and developers including leading domestic and overseas funds and property institutions and corporate property owners/occupiers on their most important projects. The team advise on commercial leasing property development and major subdivisions as well as acquisitionsand disposals hotel management arrangements and the agricultural and forestry sectors.

About you

If you are looking for an opportunity to work within a supportive ambitious growing and energetic team in Auckland and would like to join an award-winning full-service firm we would like to hear from you. The successful candidate will have:

  • 4-7 years PQE in real estate law.
  • Expertise gained from private practice in New Zealand.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to work with autonomy.
  • Proven ability to draft and lead negotiations on key documentation.
  • Experience in managing real estate transactions according to deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to build connections and work collaboratively.
  • An interest in mentoring junior lawyers.
