Qualifications
We have an exceptional opportunity for a positive and enthusiastic person who would like to be an Underwriter in our highly skilled underwriting team.
Responsibilities:
- Review analyze accept or reject risks of the Property business
- Develop and maintain relationships with producers to encourage the submission of targeted business obtain necessary underwriting information and promote satisfactory service
- Demonstrate analytical skills and ability to evaluate and judge underwriting Property risks within written authority
- Encourage the submission of targeted business; obtain necessary underwriting information and promote satisfactory service
- Exercise interpersonal skills to be capable of dealing with all levels of producers customers and staff within Chubb
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree holder in any discipline
- At least 3 years of underwriting experience in Property with major account exposure is an advantage
- Proactive independent self-motivated with strong interpersonal skill
- Superior problem resolution and decision-making skills
- Adaptable to change and embraces change
- Ability to work well in a dynamic team environment and promote high morale within the team
- Customer centric with a passion for execution
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal; ability to communicate to a variety of levels within the company and externally as required
- Strong command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
