Primary Purpose of Position
The WCF Assistant Coach plays a critical role in actively supporting the WCF Head Coach in leading and managing the development and implementation of a world class high performance program. This position is responsible for contributing to the strategic planning technical development and daily execution of training programs that align with the teams competitive objectives and ensures flow through to underpinning Club programs including WCF Reserves WCF Fever Academy and WCF Futures.
The Assistant Coach fosters a culture of excellence accountability and continuous improvement while ensuring athlete wellbeing and development remain central to all coaching practices. Through collaboration with coaching staff performance personnel and athletes the Assistant Coach helps drive a cohesive disciplined and winning environment.

Hours of Work
This role is a full-time maximum term role working 37.5 hours per week through to 16 September 2026 with a possible extension. The sport industry operates outside of traditional business hours including weekends. To succeed in this role you must be willing and able to work when and where sport is happening. We have a flexible approach to ensuring our people can balance their family life and personal commitments alongside the demands of the industry.
Salary
A competitive salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant dependent on level of experience.

NWA as a child safe organisation require all applicants that will work with children to undergo an extensive screening process prior to appointment.
