SUMMARY
The Health Program Analyst II (HPAII) is responsible for supporting the pre-release and court-based work for ODRs criminal court diversion programs for the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services Office of Diversion and Reentry (ODR). ODRs criminal court diversion programs include ODR Housing and Maternal Health. The ODR Housing program is a permanent supportive housing program serving individuals who are homeless have a serious mental health disorder and are diverted into services after being incarcerated in the Los Angeles County Jail. Clients in the ODR Housing program are referred to interim housing and assigned an Intensive Case Management Services (ICMS) provider who works with the client as they transition from custody to community and on to permanent supportive housing.
This position will support the planning implementation and day to day pre-release and court program operations and will work with county departments and community organizations to gain and ensure cooperation in achieving program goals and objectives. This position will work in close collaboration with multidiscipline teams from the Department of Health Services other County Departments community-based organizations and justice partners to execute program operations and achieve key objectives.
Currently ODR has a hybrid work schedule with a combination of workdays in the office in the field and remote. This may change at discretion of DHS.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education/Experience
Option I:A Masters Degree from an accredited college or university inSocial Work Counseling Health Care Administration/Management Public Administration Behavioral Sciences Social Sciences Business Administration or a closely related field AND- two years of full-time direct professional experience working with persons experiencing homelessness serious mental illness or justice involvement in the role of case manager clinician outreach worker program manager or similar.
Option II: A Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work Counseling Health Care Administration/Management Public Administration Behavioral Sciences Social Sciences Business Administration or a closely related field -AND- four years of full-time direct professional experience working with persons experiencing homelessness serious mental illness or justice involvement in the role of case manager clinician outreach worker program manager or similar.

Other Skills Knowledge and Abilities
Proficient skill set in using an array of Microsoft Office Suite software programs such as Word Excel PowerPoint Access Adobe Reader One Note Outlook Publisher Teams Outlook etc.
Able to multi-task and set workload priorities for time sensitive projects/tasks.
Ability to problem solve and make recommendations to processes policies etc.
Able to communicate with all levels of personnel e.g. written verbal in a professional and concise/clear manner; ability to work within a project team and/or independently.
Able to work in a very diverse environment and with diverse individuals.
Ability to be flexible in meeting changing work tasks and timelines; must be dependable and reliable.
