The Role ...
Our Developers know their stuff theyre busy working independently and setting high standards.
As a Backend Engineer you are part of an agile Software Development Team responsible for the full lifecycle of an application using cutting-edge technologies to deliver amazing value to our customers while scaling our platform to meet the demands of worldwide markets.
From developing flowcharts layouts and documentation to supporting the Product Owner with requirements and the team with solutions developing unit component and integrated tests with the guidance of the teams QA - you can expect to execute the full software development lifecycle.
Programming well-designed testable efficient code to solve business needs and deploy applications in a Continuous Integration platform as well as testing and documenting the implemented solutions will be a big part of your day-to-day.
What Youll Bring
Our backend team runs in Go so a proven track record of at least 5 years working with this technology would be ideal - but... If you have extensive experience working with similar OOP languages that is not a problem as the underlying concepts are similar - just know that if you join us youll be working with Go.
Wed Like You To Master In:
Experience with distributed systems and messaging (e.g. Kafka SQS Kinesis);
Background in working withSQL databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL) NoSQL (e.g. DynamoDB Elasticsearch) and caching (e.g. Redis);
Proven track record working with CI/CD design patterns and automated testing.
