Senior VAT Analyst

Responsibilities:
- Produce standard VAT reports using SAP Lynx and JDE 8.12 and reconcile the VAT data against balance sheet VAT accounts
- Amend the standard VAT reports by usingmanual adjustmentsSQLetc.
- Deliver reconciliation evidence at the end of each month and explainthe differences
- Consolidate VAT dataprepareand submitVAT Returns on local fiscal authorities websites
- Produceand submit Intrastat reports on local fiscal or statistical authorities websites
- Maintenance of the VAT templates and delivery to affiliate teams (Finance and Reporting managers controllers)
- Coordinate & ensure readiness to report VAT andIntrastatbefore each Go-Live
- Random check of correctness of the VAT bookings
- Monthlyreview and reconciliation of all VAT accounts
- Set proceduresand processesto guarantee effectivedelivery of VAT andIntrastatreports
- Reconciliation of the Turnover against VAT bases and explanation of the differences
- Maintenance and reconciliation of the Foreign VAT accounts
- Periodic clearing of the VAT accounts for Reporting purposes
- Ad-hoc analysis based on the requests of the affiliates/auditors
- Participation on projects to cover VAT implications
- Maintain SOPs for VAT and Work instructions
Accountabilities:
Overall VAT coordination (point of contact)
Timely preparation of VAT IntrastatEC Saleslist and other reports
Periodic reconciliation of VAT accounts
EnsureVAT compliancewith local statutory requirements
Continuous process improvementand drive efficiency initiatives
