Your Workday:

As a freight train operator at Rail Force One no day is the same for you. Trains run shunting performing technical checks; you do it all independently throughout the Netherlands and even into Germany.

In Bad Bentheim you take over a loaded car train from a colleague. You check all documentation and then drive across the country to the final destination Rotterdam. This trip takes about 5 hours. The next day you are active in the ports of Amsterdam using a shunting locomotive to move along the terminals to pick up wagons and assemble a complete train for departure. Another day you drive a fully loaded container train bound for Switzerland from the Maasvlakte in Rotterdam to Venlo. No day is the same!You are still impressed every day that you can and may operate such a behemoth and enjoy the view along the way. Curious about what awaits you tomorrow.

Job requirements

National or international authorized operator;
Wagon inspector with Hazardous Materials Cat. 2 (preferred);
Drivers license B;
Proof of medical and psychological approval;
Safety awareness and ability to work independently;
Flexible: you are willing to think along in case of disruptions to come up with a good solution.
