Job Description
Position Description:
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto (250 Yonge St Toronto) and/or Client office at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Accessibility Tester to ensure our digital banking platforms meet accessibility standards and provide inclusive experiences for all users. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with accessibility testing tools and a strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as WCAG 2.1 AODA and ADA.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Conduct accessibility testing on websites mobile applications and digital banking platforms.
Validate usability for individuals with disabilities using assistive technologies such as JAWS NVDA VoiceOver TalkBack and screen magnifiers.
Collaborate with developers designers and business analysts to identify accessibility gaps and recommend remediation strategies.
Create detailed defect reports track issues and validate fixes to ensure alignment with accessibility standards.
Participate in accessibility audits reviews and user testing sessions with diverse user groups.
Stay up to date with evolving accessibility laws tools and best practices to support continuous improvement.
Provide guidance and support to teams on accessibility best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Proven experience in accessibility testing for digital platforms.
Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AODA and ADA compliance standards.
Hands-on experience with assistive technologies and accessibility testing tools.
Familiarity with Agile development environments and collaboration tools.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
Wealth Management or Banking domain experience is a strong advantage.
